IO1 – International Sales Management in Agri-food Sector Curriculum
The SMaRT starts it work on the curricula on Sales management in Agri-food sector to empower such market intermediaries with a need analysis, which consist, on one hand, in a secondary research to better circumstantiate all the different issue and aspects of the topic and define more specifically the focus of all single sections of the curriculum to be developed. On the other hand, a field analysis is carried out through the organisation of series of focus groups with SMEs representatives and students to identify the skills needs. The results of both activities allows to advance in the definition of content, structure and model for the new curriculum. The respective reports will be uploaded sucessively:
Based on the results of the two report, SMaRT proposed a new university learning Curriculum centred on the international sales management in the EU agri-food sector. This curriculum aims to provide young students of economic extraction with an integrated set of high skills of economic and business, commercial skills, leadership and communicational and relational competencies to support agri-food SMEs to enter, remain and develop in international business circuits.
This e-book presents the final design of the new university learning curriculum, centred on international sales management in the EU agri-food sector, developed, tested and validated in the course of the SMaRT project. Thus, the “SMaRT-Sales Management and Relationships for Trade” project partnership has developed, validated and promoted a 20 ECTS credit course based on a balanced mix of classroom, e-game-based learning and work-based learning methodologies.
